Birkie Trek Saturday, September 25th 2010. 8:00 a.m. The X/C Birkie in Hayward WI, will host the 3rd annual 21K Nordic Walking Trek event along with their annual relay trail run marathon. This course is challenging and full of hills. A 5K fun walk is also available to Nordic Walkers.

MN Trails This magazine is a fantastic source of information on MN Trails. Find listing of events and local trails that you never even knew existed. This magazine is in association with the Parks & Trails Council of MN. Help keep our parks alive and well. Become a member for $25 and receive the MN Trails magazine for free.
DNR Hiking Club The DNR has a great Hiking Club Program. For $14.95 you can join and earn free passes for camping. The long range goal is to walk all the DNR trails in the DNR sysytem, but this is at your leisure and not required. A great way to explore MN. Thanks Julie!
American Hiking Society Great source for Federal, State and National trails in every state in America. Site is geared for hikers but can be transferred to Nordic Walkers. Read up on National Trails Day which is on June 5, 2010. Look for Nordic Walking opportunities on that date.
